Sunset

Yesterday it wasn't hot.  It was only warm.  The sky had a few scattered clouds and there wasn't any wind.  I figured it would be a good chance to attempt to get some reflection shots.   I have taken sunset pictures from this location before but it has been awhile. The water was much calmer this time and the sky was golden instead of the blues and pinks that I captured last time. 

The airplane flew over a few times before I was finally able to get a reflection of it.

It was nice to get outside without it being 100 degrees! The water was very calm and I enjoyed walking around.

I am really looking forward to fall and hopefull I will find new places to take pictures of.

I walked around snapping shots as the sun sank lower and lower.

The bonus was finding flowers to take pictures of.

It was a very relaxing way to end the weekend.

A swift kick in the pants

I saw a quote this past week that appealed to me.  In sharing it I give you a glimpse of my mental attitude lately. 

"Dreams will get you no where.
A swift kick in the pants will get you to the next task." 

I didn't catch who to said it, so I am unable to give credit where it is due.

That about sums up how it has been going lately.  I feel like I need a good kick in the pants to motivate me to get the next job done.  One more boring task completed.  Dozens upon dozens of more lined up to be done.  Mind numbing. 

Throw in an extra helping of rude or demanding people and.......  my, my...... I do believe I am yet again frustrated, demotivated, disillusioned and blah, blah, blah......I am sure you get the idea.  

This weeks "wisdom". 

Rewarding bad behavior will encourage recurrence.
